Date is approaching: 2012 ARCOmadrid
Between 15 and 19 February will be held at IFEMA in Madrid, a new edition of the prestigious International Contemporary Art Fair ARCOmadrid. This year the Fair has some new features, one of which will be the selection of a gallery featured artist for each exhibitor.
This initiative aims to encourage exhibitors to proporner and review at their booth with a special presentation to the artist in question. Over 200 galleries will attend the event where artists match historical as Joaquin Torres-Garcia or Joseph Beuys with contemporary artists and contemporary creators and young artists of the moment.
Another new initiative is the only Objects in the galleries will exhibit sculptures and large-format installations in areas of the Fair created for this purpose.
